The 4th of July is a fantastic time to come visit vibrant downtown Napa. This Independence Day will not only have great weather, but also a fantastic array of activities for all to enjoy. Downtown Joe’s is your family friendly restaurant in Napa waiting to welcome you to our great town. If you are an early riser, come join us for breakfast before the 4th of July parade that comes down 2nd street in Napa. We are right smack on the corner so after your great breakfast you can easily watch the procession.
Or if you come later in the day, Downtown Joe’s is the perfect place to enjoy an afternoon sipping of our fantastic craft beer or chowing down on the best burger in Napa. Not only do we have a full bar, but we also have a great outdoor patio overlooking the beautiful meandering Napa River. Not to mention that Veteran’s park is right next door. It’s a great place to have the kids run around and let off some steam during the day. Enjoy your afternoon by tasting some of our great Napa craft beers. We also make a mean burger if you like good old-fashioned Americana.
But don’t forget our neighbors! There’s fantastic wine tasting all around us here downtown and just on the outskirts of town. Downtown tasting rooms like Vermeil wines, Brown Estate, JAM Cellars and The Napa General Store are all great establishments with fantastic wines from around the world-famous Napa Valley. Be sure to stop by the Art Gallery Napa Valley to have a glance at the works of local artists. But be careful, you may enjoy it so much you walk out with a piece to take home!
In the evening there will be even more fun for kids near our family friendly restaurant in Napa. Starting at 5pm and going until 9:30pm there will be carnival games and a Kid Zone right in the Ox Bow Commons next to the Ox Bow Public Market. But what’s Independence Day without fireworks? The City of Napa surely has us covered on that. A fantastic downtown fireworks display will start at 9:30pm and some of the best places to watch are right next to our family friendly restaurant in Napa. Veteran’s Park and the Riverfront Promenade are great spots to watch the show. Just be sure to come early to get a good parking spot!
With so much to see and do, it’s no wonder 4th of July is one of our busiest days in downtown Napa. So come in and join in the fun but be sure to stop at our great family friendly restaurant in Napa for a fantastic all-American meal and a great brew!
